First published 6 years ago and redesigned for 2025 - this is a very limited run of the 'Homegrown Heroes' Calendar - for those that may have missed out back in 2018.

The calendar focuses on some of the finest 'homegrown' players to play for Sunderland over the years. These players worked there way up through the youth or Academy system to make a real impact on the first team at Roker and The Stadium of Light.

It is A4 size (297mm x 210mm). All caricature illustrations are entirely hand drawn by Dave Wright - a Sunderland season ticket holder since 1992.  Each highly detailed caricature takes around 10 hours to draw.

Players featured this year: Richard Ord, Martin Smith, Gordon Armstrong, Craig Russell, Shaun Elliott, Nick Pickering, Colin Todd, Jordan Henderson, Jordan Pickford, Stan Anderson and Micky Horswill.
